Why join the Inflagrante choir?

Studies suggest that singing in a choir and belting out a tune can improve mood, boost the immune system, lower blood pressure, and reduce feelings of chronic pain.

The 2025 Black British Theatre Awards Winners Announced

The Black British Theatre Awards (BBTAs) lit up London’s Piccadilly Theatre last night in a dazzling celebration of Black excellence, artistry, and legacy. The UK’s biggest night in Black theatre returned with standing ovations, emotional speeches, and unforgettable performances, marking the seventh annual ceremony in spectacular fashion.

The 2025 ceremony — sponsored by ATG Entertainment and presented in partnership with Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Global Creatures, and with thanks to Playful Productions — celebrated a year of groundbreaking theatre and powerful storytelling on and off the stage.

Our winter concert will be at RMSGC on 27th November 2025 at 8 pm with our guest Musical Director, Martha Littlehales.

We are delighted to welcome Martha Littlehales as our guest Musical Director for the winter term. Martha is Musical Director of the HMP Stafford Choir, where she arranges music, conducts, and supports vulnerable participants through a wide range of concerts and performance opportunities.

Martha joins us while our resident MD, Eamonn O’Dwyer, is away composing the score for Troilus and Cressida at the Globe Theatre on the South Bank.  We wish Eamonn every success in this exciting venture—though he will be much missed, we are thrilled to have Martha with us. This also marks a first for Inflagrante Choir, as we have never before had a female guest MD.

Eamonn will return in the New Year to prepare us for our Gala Concert on 16th July, when we will celebrate ten years of singing together. As we like to say: from small acorns, great oaks grow.

More news about the Gala Concert will follow!
